Mike Geddes
Mike Geddes is an Honorary Professor at Warwick Business School, University of Warwick. His research interests are in public policy and management, including local democracy, local economic development and public services. He has undertaken research for the EU, the UK government and many local authorities, and has led and participated in several large scale policy evaluations (of Local Strategic Partnerships, the New Deal for Communities programme, and Local Area Agreements) for the Department for Communities and Local Government. He has contributed regularly to the OECD LEED programme on local governance and the work of the OECD Trento Centre, and is a member of the Commonwealth Local Government Forum Research Advisory Group.

IAN WADDELL (R.T.P.I. Rtd)
Ian is an urban regeneration, economic development and transport Consultant. His career has spanned both public and private sectors and encompasses research, policy development, implementation and evaluation in every aspect of regeneration. He has taken a leading role in regional economic research, and has undertaken a series of major studies of aspects of public transport provision in the West Midlands.
